The story

A journey from freshman golfer to PGA Professional

My golf journey began back in 2011 while a freshman in high school. I attended Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC and earned a degree in Business Administration and PGA Golf Management in December 2019. I have proudly been a Member of the PGA of America since January of 2020.

During my journey as a PGA Professional, I've had the privilege of shadowing and learning from multiple top-100 and highly respected coaches across the United States and Canada. These experiences have had a great influence on my coaching.

My teaching philosophy centers around taking complex problems and providing simple solutions for my students — so they can understand the "why" and "how" in order to move toward their specific goals. I do not try to fit my students into a model or a standardized golf swing.

I believe in using technology to measure club, ball and wrist data, leaving no stone unturned when assessing the swing. Equally important to me is understanding the key stats from how my students play, to identify weaknesses and build custom practice plans.

My ideal student understands that improvement is a process — and that there are no "quick fixes" that lead to long-term improvement in golf. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions about my coaching or how to get booked today.
